[rs=2] | Hello, nice to meet you. What's your name? Hello! My name is Katrina Alice Rayne but some of my friends call me Raynie, you know, like when it rains? I don't know how they ever came up with it but it stuck so I guess I'll just have to deal, right? haha. My parents call me KitKat though, because that's my favorite sweet and the first three letters of my name is Kat so yeah. That's a really nice name. How old are you? Oh. Thank you! I'm currently 18 and a freshman in college. I was actually born in New York City, but I moved out here to Orange County. Cool, that's such a beautiful city. Where do you live now? Yeah, New York was amazing but sometimes it's just a bit too loud, y'know? I currently live in Orange County, California. I moved out here when I was about 13 with my parents. Speaking of family. Tell me about yours. So, I have my mom and my dad. They're the nicest people in the world, well... maybe not in court, because they're both lawyers, but to me they're really nice. My dad is 52 but I can't tell you my mom's age or I'd never hear the end of it from her. I also have an older and younger sister; I'm the middle child. My older sister, Olivia, moved back to New York City, she's 3 years older than me, and my younger sister, Serene, lives with my parents. I love them both but my older sister is a bit mean some times. I like to think we have a perfect family but that's not true because my aunt, on my mother's side, likes to crash with us a lot and she's super annoying. Every time she comes to visit it's because she ran out of money or got into trouble and needs my mom to help her. I always told my mom that I didn't like it when Aunt Carol came visit but her children, my cousins, are all really sweet so I don't mind it when they're around. It doesn't matter to me though, because when Aunt Carol isn't here, it's just me and my parents and I love them unconditionally. They mean the world to me and I don't know what I would do without my parents. And between just you and me, I definitely love my mom more though there was a time I said it was my daddy because he would always say yes to everything my mom said no to. How would you describe your appearance. I'm a blonde, obviously, and I have blue eyes. I know that's the "bimbo" kind of look and all, but I try not to have those... "blonde moments". I'm about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and my mom told me that a lady never reveals her weight so I'll never tell you that. Hehe. I like to smile a lot and wear nice clothes. I've never had to really worry about not being able to buy new clothes because of my parents' jobs and there's old money from my daddy's side of the family so yeah. Interesting. So tell me now, what do you like. I like to go shopping! Shopping, in my opinion, is the best way to relax and kill time. If ever I get bored, I like to go shop a little with a cold beverage. I also love the color pink. It's a very feminine color and whenever I have to sign my name, I enjoy using a pink pen. Some other things I like... hm... I do like to exercise. In the morning I enjoy jogging by the beach - oh that's something else I like! I like the beach, it's calming when it's empty and you can just hear the water splashing against the sand. I also love music and attending parties every once in a while. It's necessary to mingle some times, you know? And I also love Kit-Kat chocolate and just chocolate in general. I love my family except for a few bad seeds, and I love flowers. Flowers are just... gorgeous. I'm also super into decorating things and trends. I love redecorating my room and the house in general and flipping through magazines. I also love heels. Tall ones. And pumps. And wedges. And flats. And just shoes in general just as much as I love bags. Are there things you don't like I don't like many neon colors, I can't ever really figure out why but for some reason I just dislike it. I really don't like bugs. Bugs scare me. And arachnids. I don't like lying either. I try my best not to lie. I can't say I dislike many things because my parents always told me to have an open mind... well... I don't like carrot cake. That's just vile. Cake can't be healthy - there's just something seriously wrong with that. haha. I don't like tripping... or getting bruises... or... hm... can't say I'm a huge fan of baseball caps. I can't think of anything else! Do you have things that you don't like about yourself? I'm super clumsy! And that always leads to me falling or something. It's also insane because I love to wear tall shoes so whenever I fall, it's super painful. So I definitely don't like my lack of coordination. I don't like how red I get. Whenever I get embarrassed or something, my face turns really red and really quickly. With my pale face it's also very evident so I don't like that. Now it's time to get personal. Tell us about yourself, Oh okay. Uhm... I don't know where to start. So I've told you already that I'm 18 and I'm a freshman in college and about my family. I guess I never told you about school in general? Is that personal enough? In school, I like to think I was always a good student. Honestly, I've probably missed only a handful of assignments and I graduated with a 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale, so I guess that's good too, right? My best subject was always English and History and Math was always super difficult for me. I also loved any subject that had art in it and I was in Drama classes. I was never really good with lead roles or anything like that but it was always fun and it was one of those classes where you always KNEW that effort counted. Oh, you want it to be MORE personal? Uhm... I really don't know what to say. I guess I'm really uncomfortable with those kind of questions relating to my orientation and just you know... those subjects. But I will let you know I'm one hundred percent straight. I don't like personal. Can I skip this? Thanks. What are your goals in life? I want to go into the fashion world or something. My best friend told me I could always model but I think that must be super embarrassing, dressing up and walking out in front of hundreds and to be in magazines and advertisements and everything. It sounds like fun but I think I'd write for a magazine? Or maybe design? I think that I'd like to just travel around the entire world later on in life and just make something of myself. I want to leave my name somewhere in this world so I'm never forgotten. Right, so let's do some really short, quick questions. Just answer each one as briefly as you can. Preferably one worded answers, alright? Let's start with pets. I don't have any. I want a dog. Perfect first date? Uhm... I guess like a movie and a dinner. That seems reasonable right? Drugs? Don't do them. My parents disapprove of them. Alcohol? Same thing. Don't drink. It's bad. Driving? My parents just got me a new car so I'm excited to drive! Things that make you smile? Almost everything. Do you like surprises? Yes! Well, I like good surprises. Favorite piece of technology? My smart phone or my laptop. I haven't decided yet. Biggest lie you ever told? I didn't want to go to school once so I lied to my parents about feeling sick. They found out though. Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions. It was nice getting to know you. Thank you! It was nice talking to you. |
