Noelle looked at herself in the mirror, turning around and looking at her back through the reflection. All seemed well enough. She pursed her lips and rose up one of her legs backwards, checking to see how the wedges looked. A smile took shape and she spun around one more, except this time, it was only to admire the new clothing she'd worn. She'd bought it just recently and wanted to show it to Katrina as soon as possible. Turning around, she went to her bed and grabbed her purse and coat before heading out of her apartment with a small skip in her step.
Yeah, she liked Katrina a lot. She'd been here in Orange County for a year but she still felt new to a lot of things. She'd met Katrina when her step-father arranged a dinner with his friends. It had been weird still with her step-dad since she had only recently met him, so she found the best person to talk to in the table of people. And that was Katrina. The small red head hopped into her car and started it up before driving out of the paring lot of her complex and heading towards Katrina's. She turned the volume up and began to dance as much as she could while still keeping a stable hold on the wheel.
She could be an okay singer but right now she just wanted to have fun, so she was doing a sort of screaming/singing thing right now. She slowed down at the stoplight and turned her head to the the side only to see someone staring at her like she was some weirdo. She rolled down her window and made a face. "If this was one of your favorite songs, you'd be singing to!" She yelled out before driving away when she saw the green light. She laughed and soon pulled into Katrina's driveway, parking and pulling out her phone. She continued to move her head to the beat of the current song while texting Katrina that she was there for her. She was taking her for dinner and had her bikini ready to show off at the beach. She quickly sent another text, telling Kat to bring her bathing suit.

Katrina was excited the way she was every time she was about to go out and hang out with her friends. The blonde ran her brush through her hair as she looked at herself in the mirror. As she got ready, her iPod speakers played loud music which under normal circumstances would cause her parents to come upstairs and knock on her door. But her parents were both at their firms and she was home alone at the moment. The blonde set her brush down before grabbing her shoes and adjusting the little buckle. She felt tall in them, very tall. Not that she needed to be any taller, the heels and wedges were just always so much fun to wear.
She waited for her phone to buzz with the text that she would get while packing her bag. Katrina’s phone buzzed loudly from its place on Katrina’s desk and the girl skipped over to the cellphone, careful not to trip on her way there. Rightios, so Noelle was here. She was about to grab her keys and leave before the phone buzzed again in her hand to let Katrina know what to bring.
A few moments later, the eighteen-year-old was out of the house and locked the door behind her. “Hello Noelle,” Katrina called out in a sing song sort of voice, walking over to the car her friend was in. She raised her hand and wiggled her fingers as a greeting and walked around the car to sit in the passenger seat. “Are we going to the beach?” Because that was the only explanation Katrina had for the whole bathing suit thing.

noelle looked out her window and smiled when she saw katrina coming closer, letting her eyes admire the clothing the other wore. if there was one thing that noelle and katrina both loved, it was that they loved to dress up and look good. she returned the greeting, giving the other a friendly wink as she wiggled her own fingers at her. "hi katrina." she unlocked the car before the blinde had come in, smiling over to her passenger once she was sitting beside her.
when katrina asked if they'd be going to the beach, she started the car and shrugged, smiling as she began to drive off. "today is a suprise for you. call it kidnapping without the struggle." she glanced to katrina and laughed. katrina had been four years younger than she but that didn't matter. when you found someone you connected with, who cared about the age. "i was thinking we could go after we ate and show stop with out bikinis." she turned around a corner towards the restaurant she had picked out earlier and looked at katrina. "you've got to keep me from eating too much, though. i don't want to look bloated when we go to the beach."
the petite redhead pulled into a small parking lot and turned off the car. "how have you been hon? everything going well with your classes?" she leaned to the back seat and grabbed her small bag before opening her door and exiting the car. sure she was friends with katrina, but she couldn't help acting a bit like a mother at times. she waited for katrina to get out to lock the car, smiling at its small horn. it was weak compared to others. "i think i need to upgrade to a cooler horn, don't you think? one that says 'i'm a badass'."
No; it's cool!

Katrina placed her bag on her lap and fastened the seatbelt. She was no idiot. She didn’t intend on dying in a silly car accident because she simply hadn’t put on her seatbelt. The younger girl was excited times ten now that she was in the car and ready to just go out and have fun. Katrina had to restrain herself from kicking her legs back and forth like a little child.
“My parents won’t help you get out of jail if you did kidnap me,” Katrina said, laughing along and sticking her tongue out at Noelle immaturely. When Noelle pulled out, Katrina’s smile just grew. She pushed her hair out of her face and almost fiddled with the car’s radio stations before stopping. She had learned one thing about cars and their drivers – if you were the driver, you were in charge of music, if you weren’t, you had no say. Not that she minded what was on; it was simply a habit. “I promise if you eat too much, I’ll push you out of your seat,” Katrina said, smirk on her face. Noelle stopped the car and Katrina glanced at the restaurant they had stopped at.
She slipped her bag back on her shoulder. “Yeah, they’re fun. I miss high school though,” Katrina admitted. When there was a locker and she didn’t have to lug her books around from class to class. Plus, she wasn’t a fan of taking so many notes as the professor spoke. “How’s work at the aquarium?” Katrina asked, opening the door and stepping out of it. As soon as she was standing, she smoothed out her dress. When the elder girl asked about the horn, Katrina looked at the car. She was absolutely no expert on cars. Shoes? Yes. Fashion? Yes. Cars? Absolutely not. “What’s wrong with the horn now?” Because if it worked, Katrina didn’t think that it needed to say anything in particular.

noelle pulled down her sunglasses to shade her eyes when katrina brought up her parents and how they would not help her out of prison. the red head just shrugged and laughed. "sadly, if i wanted to kidnap you, nobody would ever know. i'm just that good, kat." she stuck her own tongue out to katrina, mimicking the action she'd done moments before. when noelle saw katrina hesitate at switching the station, she laughed and looked at her. "you can turn it to something else, you know. it's hard getting used to new stations at the movie so i only listen to what i can remember."
she couldn't but laugh at katrina's remark on what she would do if she ate too much, shaking her head. "i would have been okaay with a simple 'stop eating, noelle', you know. i don't see why i have to be pushed off of a chair." she smiled and turned to look at kar, scrunching her face purposely as she giggled. when kat said that she found her classes enjoyable, noelle nodded. that was definitely a good frame a mind. there were so many people that said they hated their classes. she felt bad for those since they had four whole years ahead of them.
even she missed high school. it was so much fun with all her friends back in australia. when kat asked her about the aquarium, she smiled and looked to her friend, nodding. "it's going great. i love it. whenever you are free and find a guy to take, you should let me know. i can getyou all some passes and you can come see me perform with the dolphins." she loved that she'd gotten the job at the aquarium. it was the absolute best. shrugging, she laughed and locked the doors. "nothing's wrong with it, i guess. i guess it sounds more like a squeak than a honk. but...i think it fits me, right?" she nodded and began to walk to the door, holding it open for kat. "man, i'm starved. i didn't eat breakfast."

Katrina shook her head. “I can scream very loudly and I’ll bite you.” And she would trust her parents to find her as well. The blonde would not stand for being kidnapped. She giggled though when Noelle stuck her own tongue out at her. She looked at the dial again and just shrugged. “I’m okay with this station too,” Katrina said; there was nothing wrong with that station anyways, Katrina was just used to pushing buttons and spinning stuff in her own car.
“Where’s the fun in that? It’s much more interesting watching a person fall out of their chair,” Katrina said, smirk on her face. Stop eating? What were the chances of anyone really listening to just that? No one would listen; they’d go right back to eating, especially when they ate good food. What Katrina really wanted right then was a milkshake or something like that; something sweet to drink and something greasy to eat.
It was nice to hear that it was fun working at the aquarium and Katrina couldn’t wait to visit. “So I won’t get a pass if I can’t find a guy to take with me?” Katrina asked, giggling. She could go alone just to see the dolphins and the penguins and the whatnot; there was no need to bring a guy with her. Katrina walked into the restaurant after Noelle opened the door. Her blue eyes scanned the room quickly for good seats; preferably by the window. “Maybe you can get a horn that sounds like a dolphin; that would definitely fit you, wouldn’t it?” Katrina asked, adjusting the bag on her shoulder a little bit. When Noelle said that she was starved Katrina giggled and walked over to a table.
“That’s really your fault, breakfast is the most important meal of the day,” Katrina pointed out, sliding into a seat.

noelle laughed and shook her head, shaking her body slightly. "oohhh, you bite? i've been bitten plenty of times, kat. that won't do much." other than the hidden sexual innuendo, she had been bitten by several things. back in australia, she was always out and about with her friends, so she'd come across several animals and bugs. some of them hurt way more than others and yes, she shed some few tears at times. there had even been once that she hadn't even realized she'd been bitten when she felt part of her skin on fire. thank god she had a fair share of male friends, which one carried her back to help.
when katrina asked i she had to have a guy to go, noelle laughed and shook her head. "of course you can get a pass either way. all you have to do is ask and i'll bring you one." it was true. if one of her friends so much as hinted that they wanted to go to the aquarium, she wouldn't hesitate to get them free passes. hey, that's what she was there for. well, that and to work. she walked in after katrina, smiling and looking around ot the people inside. she nodded her head in a small greeting to those who smiled back.
she'd been unable to contain her laughter when katrina brought up having a horn that sounded like a dolphin. "i would love that...but i think other people would freak out if i honked while on the road." which, was not a very good idea. she didn't wantot be the caiuse of an accident. "i wonder if they seel horns like that, though.." she pondered, pursing her lips as she sat in the seat in across from kat. she nodded and picked up her menu. "i was tired this morning and chose more sleep over food." laughing, she scanned the menu, pursing her lips as she scavanged for something. "...a burger sounds so good right now." she tried to find something smaller and healthier, but she put the menu town, finalizing her order. "yeah, i'm gonna eat a burger. oh and fries. i love the fries from here." she nodded and looked around for a waiter, thirsty. "how are your parents doing, kat?"

Katrina frowned. She supposed she couldn’t come up with some way to break free from her kidnapper ever then. “I’ll just carry a whistle with me everywhere then, in case I ever do get kidnapped,” Katrina decided. That way if anything were to happen, someone would be able to hear her. And she’d also carry pepper spray or something; just in case. She was also pretty sure that she would never find a usage for either items but wasn’t it always better safe than sorry?
She mocked wiping sweat off of her forehead and giggled. “Oh, good, I didn’t want to feel pressured into finding a guy just so I could pay you a visit.” She didn’t want to find a guy; at least, not yet. All good things came with time; wasn’t that the saying or something? So if one were to replace things with a guy, then after a period of time, she would find someone. That made sense in her head.
“Then you can let them know you’re just being special,” Katrina pointed out. Because really, a dolphin horn would be pretty darn awesome for anyone. Plus, people needed to appreciate the little unique things that people had – like a dolphin horn. The blonde grabbed a menu as well ran down the list quickly. “You could also have a walrus horn,” Katrina added to the girl’s seal horn idea. When Katrina looked at her menu again, she realized she didn’t exactly need one to order what she wanted to eat. She knew exactly what she wanted to eat. “If you slept earlier and woke up earlier, you wouldn’t have to choose between the two,” Katrina said with a giggle. Perhaps Katrina was the only one who did that, she wasn’t sure.
She looked up when Noelle said that she thought a burger sounded good. “I’m going to eat that, and get a chocolate milkshake,” Katrina said. Because no meal was ever complete without a milkshake; it wasn’t possible… except for dinner and breakfast so maybe a meal wasn’t complete without a milkshake unless it was lunch. “Promise to push me off of my chair if I eat too much?” Katrina asked with a giggle. It seemed to her that she’d be eating quite a bit.
How were her parents? Katrina shrugged. “They’re… good, I guess, working with law stuff and the whatnot, not very interesting dinner conversations,” she said, putting her menu down. “And what about yours?”

noelle smiled and laughed, picturing katrina going everywhere with a whistle. "...you'd have to buy one in every color because i hope you aren't planning on wearing on that doesn't match the different outfits you wear?" she questioned. even if she would do it, noelle knew katrina and her fashion sense. why? because she was very much like her in that sense. they always needed to look good wherever they went. you see, looking good wasn't about wanting to impress people. it was about making a statement. noelle wanted people to know that she was confident in herself if not, they would think they could just stomp all over her, especially because of her height, and that was never going to happen. she wouldn't allow it. and, she figured katrina was somewhat similar. which is why, they it if off so quickly.
besides the fact that noelle thought katrina was downright adorable. she loved to make girlfriends, which had been why she made it appoint to go up to her as soon as they'd met. hearing her talk about bringing a guy, she smiled. "who needs guys anyways, right? their only good for one thing." she winked and laughed, knowing that katrina would probably hit her for saying that, but she could care less about that. "and, i know you must be dying to see me. i mean, why should you need one to be with wonderful ol' me, right?" speaking abou tbeing special and possibly getting a walrus horn, she shook her head. "you are so awesome, you know that? i mean i would have never thought of a walrus horn." she began to make walrus noises, laughing when she saw other peolpe turn to look at her with weird eyes. she didn't care. "and just when have i slept when i was supposed to?"
she pursed her lips and nodded when she said what she would be getting to eat. that definitely sounded absolutely scrumptious. "mm, that sounds so good. i think i'll get a milkshake too. strawberry, though." she nodded and flexed her arm, smiling to katrina. "you just better watch out, because these muscles will cause serious damange if i push too hard." she looked around and waved a waiter over, looking forward again. "hmm, i guess they are doing well. mom is always gushing about the new hubby and she hadn't called me crying, so i guess they are doing well. i won't see them until this weekensd when we have our dinner together. i should probably visit more often, though." she laughed as if she was doing wrong and shrugged. the waiter came and she smiled up to him. "ah, hi there. i'll have a burger with everything, with mayo, some fries, and a strawberry milkshake."
